Welcome to the CJ’s Thumbs Up Foundation Homepage. When our daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor on January 20, 2009, our world was turned upside down. The only way we have been able to survive this challenging year has been through the constant support of friends, family, and even strangers. In an effort to capture some of that incredible positive energy and give back to others, we have created the CJ’s Thumbs Up Foundation. (CJSTUF)

After Charlotte Jennie’s first surgery, she had a lot of difficulty moving. We could hear her talking and even counting in Spanish. One thing that she was able to do consistently was give us a “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” sign when things were good or bad. This became an enduring symbol of CJ’s strength and courage.
