Financial Assistance Grants & Emergency Financial Assistance

We know that having your child in the hospital for an extended period of time brings challenges. Since 2010, CJSTUF has provided over $165K in financial assistance to over 360 families. 

We currently support families by paying a bill (up to $500). Support is prioritized for children receiving treatment at the hospitals where we have the Meal Fairies program:
Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU
UVA Children's Hospital

​If you know a family whose child has a chronic, life-threatening illness and they need specific assistance, please contact us. We may be able to help with a specific bill or need. This can include medical bills, utility bills, rent/mortgage support, or funeral expenses.
