ASK The organization that funds the Hematology/Oncology clinic at VCU Children's Medical Center. Resources include child life specialists, clinical psychologists, social workers, and many other resources for families effected by cancer.


Reese Strong Richmond, VA based nonprofit that helps families in need. Reese and Charlotte were diagnosed within one week of each other.


Make a Wish CJ's Make-A-Wish trip was wonderful and amazing. A great organization!

Noah's Children One of the few Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care organizations in the country. They were a fantastic resource to us during the final stages of CJ's life (and beyond)


HopeCam A national nonprofit that provides laptops with webcams to kids with chronic illnesses so that they can participate in school or talk to family while hospitalized or homebound.


Caring Bridge Before we had the blog and the website, there was Caring Bridge: a free website that you can use to communicate treatment news with friends, family, and strangers.
