Financial Assistance Grants
CJ’s Thumbs Up Foundation has distributed over 54 $500 gifts ($26,000 total) to families in need since 2010. These financial assistance grants can be used for any necessary expenses on the part of the family.
Applicants must be a child under the age of 18 with a chronic and life threatening illness currently served by Children's Hospital of Richmond. This includes the Medical College of Virginia (VCU Health Systems) and any affiliate campus or program of Children's Hospital of Richmond.

We will have four distribution periods in 2012. Applications will be processed in January, April, July, and October.Funds will be distributed to qualified applicants by the following month as long as funds are available.
Families may receive no more than 1 gift per year and no more than 2 gifts per lifetime.
