Thumbs Up Campaign: Who Will Win?

The Thumbs Up Campaign is still going strong at many local Ashland businesses. Have you seen the logo in some neighborhood storefronts lately?
Local Ashland businesses have volunteered to support the Thumbs Up Campaign. Add a $1 (or more) donation to each transaction and 100% of the proceeds will benefit CJSTUF. Each donor gets their name on a card which will be posted prominently in the business.
Current participating businesses include:
Pepicellis Pizza 208 S. Washington Highway, Ashland
NY Nails & Tan 107 N. Washington Highway (Ashland-Hanover Shopping Center)
Ashland Pack & Ship 225 N. Washington Highway (Ashland-Hanover Shopping Center)
Flower Depot 211 N. Washington Highway (Ashland-Hanover Shopping Center)
Cross Bros. Grocery 107 S. Railroad Avenue
Train Town Toy & Hobby 104 S. Railroad Avenue
1st Capital Bank-Ashland 409 S. Washington Highway, Ashland
100% of the proceeds will go to CJSTUF's programs, providing financial assistance to families in need. The business that sells the most cards will win a team-building workshop from Comedy Sportz Improv Theater valued at $1500!

If you own a local business that would like to participate, contact Roger ASAP. We will supply each business with donor cards, posters, and information about the foundation that can be distributed to customers. The business that raises the most funds by May 31st will win a team-building comedy workshop for their staff from Comedy Sportz Improv Theater valued at $1500!
PS You don't have to be an Ashland business to participate!

Spirited Art Richmond is hosting as our Business of the Month. Join us on Tuesday, April 24th from 6:30-9 PM and you can paint your very own butterfly!
What's that you say? You're not artistic? You can't paint?!?
Forget all those ideas.
Spirited Art makes it easy and fun. I attended a Spirited Art event about two months ago with some of the other writers from Richmond Mom. I am one of the least artistic people I know and I found it both easy and fun. The instructors guide you through the process step by step. You can customize your picture and everyone's creation is unique. PLUS, you have access to affordable wine and appetizers from The Wine Loft (conveniently located next door) so no matter what happens, we'll be relaxed and contented!

Visit our website if you need more information. Cost is $35 for the evening (wine and appetizers are extra). Space is limited so call today or go online to register for our fundraising night. A large portion ($25) of each registration comes back to CJSTUF so this should be a great night for our organization.
By the way, speaking of Richmond Mom, don't forget to nominate your favorite Richmond Super Mom by April 14th. We will get a $5 donation for every nomination!
Also, now is the time to start thinking about hosting a Butterfly Social in May. What is a Butterfly Social? It's a great excuse to have a party or special get together for your friends. You can give your party any theme you desire and use it as an opportunity to raise awareness (or even a little $$) for our organization. We can provide you with an entire event kit, including invitations, an event checklist, party ideas, and even some cool CJSTUF swag for your guests.
